THE FOUNDER
George Inaki founded Milamore in 2019.
Of Spanish Filipino and Japanese heritage, his sensibility was shaped between cultures and between cities, moving fluidly between New York and Japan.
Through this dialogue, he came to embrace Kintsugi as a way of understanding how fracture becomes strength.
Guided by the belief "Mended, Not Broken," his practice begins with meaning before form. This philosophy continues to shape the house.
What is mended carries more strength than what was never broken.
