Kintsugi Float Diamond Ring l

The Kintsugi Float Diamond Ring I is our newest design. We took our signature Kintsugi Ring I design and elevated it playfully with diamonds. It features a marquise and round diamond accents along the front and sides of the ring on one of the Kintsugi Lines. These diamonds are set in our signature float design. This ring is 18 karat yellow gold and is inspired by the abstract lines the gold-coated lacquer leaves as it binds the fragments, instantly transforming you into the repaired ceramics. This piece can be worn as a unique engagement, self-love, or wedding band. You complete the design.

Kintsugi is the traditional craft of Japan that restores broken ceramics. Ceramics once shattered would be made whole again by bonding the fragments together with lacquer & gold, bringing beauty to what was once destroyed. Everyone has emotional markings - and we believe the wisdom you've gained through the tough moments, is something to embrace. In Kintsugi we learn that ceramics are destined to crack. This is a metaphor for how wisdom and beauty are birthed from our own lived imperfections. The Kintsugi collection is a tribute to honor this. The cracks create unique shapes and tell a unique story captured by MILAMORE.

Handcrafted in Japan

The rich culture and heritage of Japan is Milamore’s biggest source of inspiration. Designed in New York and handcrafted in Japan, Milamore blends the ancient Japanese art of jewelry making with modern design. Each piece is made with the highest quality materials—18 karat gold and precious stones—and is created entirely by hand by multi-generational families of artisans in Japan.

Our ateliers are located in Tokyo and Yamanashi Prefecture in the heart of Japan near the foothills of Mount Fuji, and have deep ties to our Co-Founder’s family business. The first atelier opened its doors as a watchmaking shop in Tokyo’s Asakusa district during the 1920s and then evolved into a jewelry-making atelier after World War I. Our community of highly skilled artisans produce heritage art by combining techniques that have been passed down for generations with modern-day technology. They are masters of their craft, and together we share a commitment to quality and passion for innovation.
Our jewelry undergoes a sophisticated 10-step process, starting with a hand-sketch design, followed by a wax carving and casting, and finished with the hand-setting of gemstones. We source the highest quality materials, and our suppliers are vetted to meet the highest of ethical standards. Our diamonds are conflict-free; Our emeralds, which come from Colombia and Brazil, are responsibly sourced. Through powerful, modern design and exceptional craftsmanship, each piece becomes one-of-a-kind and holds a deeper meaning to those who wear it.
Our artisans treat each piece of Milamore fine jewelry like a work of art. Attention to detail is in our DNA. This is what it means to be “Handcrafted in Japan”
